In celebration of Judy Garland’s recent centennial, songstress Joan Ellison, accompanied by the New Albany Symphony Orchestra, brings Judy’s original symphonic arrangements back to life in a nostalgic trip down memory lane. (Arrangements used with the kind permission of the Judy Garland Heirs Trust.) The hit parade includes “The Trolley Song,” “The Man That Almost Got Away,” Get Happy,” Come Rain or Come Shine,” The Boy Next Door,” “Chicago,” “That’s Entertainment,” “You Go to My Head” and, of course, “Over the Rainbow.”
Tables of 8 are $500; individual table seats are $70. Tables include 8 chairs and a tablecloth. You are welcome to decorate your table, but please don’t exceed 14 inches in height.
General admission lawn seats are are $30 to 35. We recommend bringing chairs since there is not a separate area for blanket seating. You are welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages. Wine, beer, and hard seltzer will be available for purchase that evening. Bottles of wine will be available for pre-order starting August 15.
Gates open at 6:30 pm.
