The Richens/Timm Academy is widely regarded as one of the foremost institutions in Irish dance. For more than 50 years, Richens/Timm has served the greater Columbus community and is proudly based in Dublin, Ohio. The studio is under the direction of Senior Men’s World Champion John Timm and his wife, Heather Timm, a World medalist. Both were trained under the tutelage of Ann Richens and continue to uphold the longstanding tradition of excellence while inspiring the next generation of dancers. Students of Richens/Timm have distinguished themselves on the international stage, earning both World and All Ireland titles. In addition, several alumni have pursued professional performance careers, touring with the acclaimed productions Riverdance and Lord of the Dance. They offer classes for adults and children ages three and up. From social dancing to the competitive arena, there’s a place for everyone in the Richens/Timm family.
