Ticket FAQs

Do You Sell Subscriptions?

Yes. Buying a subscription is the least expensive way to purchase tickets, plus subscribers get early access to the Great Artist Gala concert, can choose their seats before single concert tickets go on sale, and can keep their seats from one season to the next. Subscriptions for our 2026-2027 season to on sale April 27, 2026. You can order online here, by phone (614) 469-0939, or in person at the CAPA Ticket Office at 39 E. State St., Columbus, OH 43215. The CAPA Ticket Office is open 10:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday for in-person sales and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for phone sales.

Subscribers pay only a $5 ticket fee for their entire order when purchasing online or by phone. In-person purchasers pay no fees.

If you would like to upgrade your lawn seat to a table seat, the cost is $45 per person and can be done while purchasing your subscription. Subscribers who want a table of 8 for our July concert at the Hinson Amphitheater can apply the value of their seats for that concert to the $600 cost of the table. To reserve a table or to get more information, call the CAPA Ticket Office at (614) 469-0939.

How Do I Access My Digital Tickets?

If you selected Digital Tickets, you will access your tickets through your wallet.CAPA.com, using your device’s browser or app. Once logged in (with the same username/email and password you use to purchase tickets from CAPA) select “My Events” and simply show the QR code on your mobile device at the venue for entry. Your dynamic QR code will be available on the date and time listed. Please don’t print or screenshot your digital tickets – they won’t be valid. To save your Ticket Wallet to your iPhone home screen, open your browser, type in wallet.cbusarts.com and then click the Share Icon at the bottom of the screen. After clicking the Share Icon (see below for an example of the Share Icon), scroll down to “Add to Home Screen.” This creates a new icon that links directly to your Ticket Wallet. To save your Ticket Wallet to your Android home screen, open your browser, type in wallet.cbusarts.com and then touch the menu (…) icon at the top right of the web browser. • CAPA.com – For tickets $10 and under, there is no service fee, but there is a 3% credit card fee. For tickets between $10.01 and $125, the service fee is 16% of the ticket price plus a 3% credit card fee. For tickets above $125, the service fees is $25 plus a 3% credit card fee. Fees for subscriptions ordered online are only $5 for the entire order, regardless of the number of subscriptions purchased. This includes mailing and will call services.
  • CAPA Ticket Office by phone – Fees for season tickets ordered by phone are $5 per order (not per ticket), including mailing and will call services. Single ticket fees purchased by phone are $2.00 per ticket for tickets $24.99 and below and $4 per ticket for tickets $25.00 and above.  This fee includes mailing and will call services.
  • CAPA Ticket Office – Season and single concert ticket purchases made in person at the CAPA Ticket Office incur no fees.
Do you allow children on laps?

We are required to have a ticket issued for everyone entering the McCoy Arts Center and the Hinson Amphitheater.

For concerts taking place in the Hinson Amphitheater all children must have a ticket. Please use the “student” ticket option for a $10 discount.

For regular season concerts in the McCoy Arts Center, you can purchase the lowest-priced ticket available in the theatre for children under 1 year of age and have them sit on your lap where your tickets are. Children between the ages of 1 and 3 are allowed to sit on a lap, but they must have a ticket for the seat next to the lap they are sitting on. Children 3 and older are not allowed to sit on a lap. Please use the “student” ticket option for a $5 discount.

For Great Artist Series concerts, all children under the age of 3 are allowed to sit on a lap, but they must have a ticket for a seat next to the lap they are sitting on. Children 3 and older are not allowed to sit on a lap.
